TAMIYA X-20 Enamel Thinner 10ml

If you want to change your Super Dollfie's eyes you'll first need to remove them, and that means taking out all of the hot glue they come glued in with.

It can be a troublesome job, but using this thinner can help speed up the process.

First you will want to take off your SD's head. This will make it easier for you to maneuver in the small space.

Using a head tool will make the job of taking off and putting on your SD's head much easier.

Then, taking a small brush or cotton swab, dab thinner around the edges where the glue meets the inside of your SD's head. Don't use too much! It doesn't need to be dripping, but there needs to be enough to soak into the glue. Also be careful to minimize contact to your SD's face as it may mess up their makeup.

Be careful to use it in a well ventilated area. It smells, and it's strong!

Let it sit for a few moments, 10-15 seconds, and then gently slide a non-bladed, flat metal tool in between your SD's head and the glue. The glue should start to pull away from the head. We recommend the rounded end of the Mineshima Carving Knife TM-102. You can keep gradually applying more thinner if you feel like the glue is not coming away enough.

Be careful not to disturb your SD's eyelashes at this point, as the thinner can make the glue holding them in soft as well.

Gently work the tool in between the head and the glue until it pulls away completely from the surface.

Do the other side and you are done! You can now change your SD's eyes however you wish and give them a whole new look!
