Dollfie Rooting Hair:08 / Gold

You can create your own original styles using Dollfie Rooting Hair! It's great for making character dolls, as well as your own creations because it is soft, and straight, and comes in many natural, and vibrant colors. This hair comes ready to be rooted in a long skein. There's one whole meter (over one yard) in the package so there is plenty for most any project. It's made from the same material, and has the same color scale as the Custom Hair Heads, so you can match it with confidence.

Use:
This Rooting Hair can only be used for dolls with soft vinyl heads. It can not be used for plastic or urethane heads.

The recommended method for using the Rooting Hair uses the Rooting Hair Needle. Gather 6-8 strands of the hair and cut it off close to the rubberband at the top. Don't use too much or it will be difficult to pull through, and you could split the soft vinyl. Slightly wetten one end of the hair and cut it off straight. Thread the cut end through the needle, and then tie both ends together in a tight knot. The heads have a guidline around them that you can follow to root them. Poke the needle through the soft vinyl from the inside out, pushing it into the neckhole and out the surface. You will want the strands to be closer together in the front than in the back, and when you make a part you will want to alternate them in order to get a nice line.

Care & Styling:
There are several different tools and materials available to make care and styling of your Dollfies.

Dollfie Scissors are great because they have small, slender blades, to get at those tiny hairs. The Razor Cutter is really good for softer, layered styles, but it's large so you'll need to be careful.

Wig Shampoo & Conditioner is the thing to use if your Rooting Hair gets dirty, or starts to look dull. Oil Spray can help tame flyaways and make it look smooth again.

Wig Mist is a styling spray that dries clean, and helps hold your styles in place. It also gives a wet look. Water Wax is a styling wax that helps to tame your doll's hair and gives them a slick, smooth look.
